National Apprenticeship Awards 2019
As you probably saw on our social media, last year we were
honoured and surprised to win Large Employer of the Year at the South West
Region National Apprenticeship Awards. Excitedly, this meant we were put
forward for the National Large Employer of the Year and in November last year
we had the great opportunity of attending the National Apprenticeship Awards
ceremony in London.
Our Apprenticeship Advisors, Gemma and Tracey attended the
National Ceremony which was held at Old Billingsgate. It was a fantastic
evening, celebrating all things apprenticeships. There were lots of stories
shared of how apprenticeships have benefitted individuals as well as employers,
and it was a very humbling night.
Although we didn’t win the National Award, Gemma and Tracey had
a great time. It was an amazing evening and it was great to see so many people
together who all are involved in apprenticeships. We are very proud that our
apprenticeship scheme was considered amongst the other fantastic employers for
a National Award. We can’t wait for the next one!
